So what is "Raising the Walls"?

- Gather a team: 10-30 construction volunteers per house. (No Experience Necessary!)
- Raise the funds: each team raises $9,000 per house to cover the cost of materials, transportation, and reassembly. **Try gathering a team of 20 to raise $450 each
- Join the effort: come build with us. Find a place and a date for your group
- Change a life forever: give a family renewed hope with the gift of a safe and secure home.
THE VISION:
Construct the walls and roof of a home here and send them to Mexico for a family in need. Construct homes in church, school, or office building parking lots. The houses are then panelized and transported to Juarez where our staff assembles them. Give a family a safe, secure, and warm shelter. Teams of 10-30 per home can participate. Building projects last 3-4 hours.
THE IMPACT:
RTW provides a much needed home for a family living in extreme poverty, even families that might not have a home. Families and children have been exploited, oppressed, and devalued. They live in shelters made of cardboard, blankets, wooden pallets and any material they can find. Most have an income of less than $4 per day.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We can change the lives of a family without traveling to Mexico. RTW creates a sense of community and strengthens the bond between families, friends and team members who participate in a home build.
